maybe i am being overly optimistic but that ask srini anything was the realest conversation this company has had since early Legere. Just tell us the truth we’re adults. Good for Srini. But I still don’t know what I need to do to assure I won’t get laid off. Like I know that’s not bulletproof but how can I increase my odds and know if I’m on the right track in my career? Am I moving the ball forward or backward? That’s all I need to know and I’ll stop stressing and drink the kool aid again. Please srini we’re thirsty over here

Be nice.
@cc I’m so sure
Don't trust leadership. Trust in yourself. They'll tie your hands around your back and r@pe you if they could.
@b3 Deanne is authentic?! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Stop paying attention to what they say on stage and pay attention to what they actually do.
@bc What makes you say it's backwards?
We need more people from Deutsche Telekom.
@bc Why do you say the other commenter has it wrong? Freier seems to be the biggest push of in office and is making his people relocate despite never making his own family relocate and trying to make Frisco an HQ so he can be the only exec not to be in Washington.
At least Srini and DK have moved and lead by example.
I thought it was a good AMA, I appreciate them being as honest as they could and being willing to let us vote on what's asked vs cherry picking. I hope they do another one.
@b3 I think you got it backwards on who is really genuine and disingenuous behind the curtain when no one is looking. And I would know.
Delivery is different by necessity. They have to keep morale in some sort of semblance. The end result is still the same, less overhead and more profit for themselves and shareholders.
good post. I agree 100%. Srini seems authentic and empathetic. Deanne too. Jon on the other hand is swarmy. There is something about him that is so disingenuous I can't let it go...
How was any of what he said real? There's still 5+ layers of decision makers between you and him. There's no knowable criteria applied to determine if you are moving the ball forward or backward. They regularly fire PEAK winners.
