Did you eat paint chips as a kid?
You can ask your mgr and/or hr to be put on the layoff list if they hit your team.
No to be laid off it either has to be reduction in work volume or you can try low production volume in my state of Georgia you can still get unemployment with low production volume & still laid off which would give you severance most times but remember severance is a curtesy it’s not mandatory for them to just automatically give it to you
