What would it take to get back there? Is it possible?

What does a single aggrieved WF employee have to do with maga? Your TDS is showing.
A Wells Fargo employee is suing oh Maga WF for ADA violations, fake reviews, etc, the case has made it to Federal court. oh hail MAGA is alive at WF too. https://www.charlotteobserver.com/news/business/article315352962.html
Far from maga.
The military despises the current faux entertainment administration including drunken pete.
Honestly, maga is hanging on by a thread, and its not a flex.
But hey, this war, er operation, is won, and uh, you know, winning is the biggest the world has ever seen before.
If USAA was actually maga it would be pretty great. The biggest problem is it's still cray cray lefties in HR running the messaging and blakk rock azzkissers in the upper corporate ranks.
Call me when the CEO comes out and says ESG was always a big stupid anti-American mistake and they shouldn't have spent so much time kissing Larry Fink's butt.
The problem for any company of a certain size is how do you stop drinking the management consultant and blakk rock kool-aid? It seems like most of what the board sees is BCG BS. BCG might as well be dimestore AI these days.
USAA …… ABANDON ALL HOPE YE WHO ENTER HERE. IT IS MAGA
Fake reviews. Fake fake. Fake. Fake. USAA. HR needs to get fired too. You guys are fake. Fake fake fake.
Fire Hostile management. Simple. Why is it hard. Make USAA great again. Not maga
As far as front line.. SIMPLE. Value their employees again, stop forcing front line employees to watch their call handle time while simultaneously making them create some sort of connection with the member so they can cram product offers down their members throats. The statement that a happy employee will work harder for their employer is true.
@s5 you’d be the worst business owner ever. Go open a convenience store, and when your sales and traffic decrease while costs increase you hire more employees. Genius.
Get EMG and staff in place that know their areas of responsibility. Culture of nepotism has created a situation where EMG was put in place because of who they know and they are not capable of making any decisions. All decisions are made by getting consensus agreement because EMG isn’t competent enough to make their own decisions. The same folks are hiring their buddies who are equally incompetent in their current roles. Won’t take long for regulators to pick up on the lack of experience and knowledge.
@s6
Terrible idea.
Offering free car insurance would precipitate catastrophic adverse selection. That's basically paying people extra for being bad drivers with terrible credit.
This will be unpopular…
Reduce the bonus, but get properly staffed. So offer free car insurance for 3 years (as long as you stay employed here), but instead of a 20% bonus it drops to 15%.
And hire people! No more 50-60 hour weeks.
Job cuts have been happening. How about we wrap them up?
What if during these trying times USAA became the company that expanded? Hired more employees?
Totally revamp leadership, aka, start over!
I can only speak for non member contact. My honest take - who is your manager can make or break your experience. If you are stuck with a bad manager, it can be really painful but with a good manager, the pay and workload isn’t bad. Grass isn’t always greener on the other side. A few folks left for better pay came to regret it because for an extra 20% they had to put up with 60 hour weeks.
Fake PIPs in AML is just the start, leadership dating their analysts--how can they calibrate effectively?, gas lighting, anger issues from leadership, macros in the age of AI -LOL being forced, fake pulse surveys conducted by directors (phx) to cover this all up, leadership wanna fight they analyst in the office, Leadership needs to be PiPd out.
ppl blame management and fair enough but the HR strategy team is to blame. Too light on the genuine upskilling strategy and too heavy on “hold people accountable”. Management is just reflecting that
Using the PIP strategy to get people to leave has damaged USAAs employee morale and leadership credibility for many years, at a minimum.
@cf I was at that employee meeting in December 2007 when General Joe Robles was named the new CEO, it felt like Christmas Day to all employees. I guarantee, General Robles is turning in his grave at Ft. Sam Houston at how USAA no longer cares about employee morale. It’s a shame how the executives today pay no attention when walking into the auditorium that bares his name! If they see the plaque at the entrance, take care of the employee and they’ll take care of the member. USAA is so far removed from the General Robles golden years.
Why, what's up with aml management ?
Besides complete incompetence…
Unfortunately we cannot go back in time to December 2007 and bring Gen Robles to present day.
USAA knows the job market has been horrible for the last 2 years and is using that to its advantage, main reason employee morale hasn’t been a concern for them.
Eliminate hostile management in AML and actually investigate them. Create a safe space for employees.
Ability to work home three times per month….
