How do we keep carrying ugly inventory? Stuff that nobody wants and is straight dollar store quality. Who is sourcing all these cr-p items? Search Nike shoes and it’s 80% ugly tjmaxx stuff. Can we fire the team who keeps buying ugly sh-t nobody wants? How are we relevant if we keep selling stuff nobody wants???

I had a customer return a marketplace item that literally was falling apart in my hand as I was doing the return. Why would Macy’s want to associate itself with low quality items!
Preaching to the choir. As for Nike shoes, that department is leased and Macy's doesn't buy the product. It's Finish Line.
Ask the Belk guy that posts similar non layoff gripes. This is for layoffs and we know retail malls are kaput and borrowing time from good posts and in a couple of years we won't hear anything from you
