If youre going to track hours of employees complying with RTO and "fire" them for not making 6 or more hours a day then fire the remote employees first because it's completely unfair they arent under the same scrutiny.

@b0 seriously? What does meeting time have to do with whether or not they track you coming and going into the office?
What do you think happens when you swipe your badge at the door?
@OP What makes you think RTO tracking is happening? There's no way they can do that since meetings start early and those of us on the West Coast are still expected to attend.

Remote employee here. They changed my location from E to C.
I lost potential of 15k to get from current pay to mid range. Now in C, I’m over mid.
No more merit, no more promotions. Same scrutiny as far as being monitored and tracked. We have Sapience installed.

@aj I was impacted so can confirm lower pay and zero chance of promotion.
Typical peasant mindset. This is why the rich keep winning. Instead of pulling down your fellow workers why not focus on the root of the problem which is micro management via RTO tracking.
Starting last December Remote employees are now limited to only Geocode A,B and C which means lower comps. I know several who went from D,E,F to a C. So they are already paying a hefty price.
Or just go to 1-2 days a week, no tracking. The solution isn't more misery.
