Thread regarding Oracle Corp. layoffs

What documents should I be backing up before the layoff?

So far I did a recent paystub, W2 and my performance review from FY25. Was debating sending my entire teams code too so I can reference it in the future.

Check your tax return records to see if you have copies of your W2s for 2023, 24, and 25. If not, download them. Oracle will send you a W2 for this year early next year. Your paystubs from December 1 to the latest one in March. Any docs like offer letters that describe your compensation plan. Expense reports. If you have any expense reports that you have not completed and submitted. do that now. You can download performance reviews for your own records, but they should not be shared outside of Oracle. Avoid anything Oracle proprietary - do not download your code to an external device; Oracle will consider this theft and could come after you.

Oracle paid you to write the code so it is theirs. Taking it is stealing intellectual property. They would probably prosecute just to make an example of you if you get caught.

A year’s worth of paystubs. Verifast employment history. Connect with people on LinkedIn and endorse them. Names and contacts for recommendations.

Send code if you want to be arrested and sued into oblivion
