What criteria will most likely determine cuts within sales orgs?

FYI - #netsuite-all has dropped by 50 since Monday. This is marginal (the channel has over 12,500 people) but it’s not nothing.

Performance will always be the top factor for sales roles. This is followed by your reputation/how much management likes you as well as how well you play the game. Are you using the AI tools they’ve been shoving down their throats? Are you keeping up with the admin work they’ve been piling on our desks?

Geography and org matters too. In August they fired an entire inside sales team in one office as well as an entire overlay team. It wouldn’t surprise me if that happens again.

Stack ranking - should be performance based but other factors can play in - i.e. does your manager hate you enough

I still remember when after its acquisition Netsuite was the new shiny thing.

The more you make, the higher on the list you go.

How does tenure play a role like ramping rep vs 2-4 years with low stack ranking
