If you haven't visited this site (WallStreetDiscriminates.com) you need to. Post to the site if you have a story to share. I'm working on drafting mine. Using these info from Forbes: Women account for roughly 30% to 35% of workplace bullies. Women bullies target women approximately 65% to 68% of the time, which is almost twice the rate that men bully women in the workforce. Workplace bullying : repeated mistreatment that can include verbal abuse, social exclusion, humiliation, and work sabotage.

I've reported to quite a few women in my career and most were pretty good. But there were a few, including this one who were just toxic...

I can relate. Had a woman in GP&T Product bully me (a woman) non stop. My manager, a man, didn’t do a thing about it and actually caused it to become unbearable because he listened to her calling him multiple times a day to complain about me instead of shutting her down early on.

I was then transferred out of the team to make his life easier so he didn’t have to deal with her complaints anymore.

Pi-s poor leadership in GP&T.

I understand your point about the site format, but I also understand why it was most likely not designed to invite open commentary. Mean and inappropriate responses on social sites are exactly why many people hesitate to speak up.

That said, it seems the purpose is not interaction as much as visibility. For many, simply having their experience documented and seen can matter, especially when they have not felt heard elsewhere.

It may not resonate with everyone, but awareness does not always require debate to have impact, and for some, that visibility can make a real difference.

While the premise of that site is good (people publically stating what happened to them when being mistreated in the workplace), the way it's designed is too bland and static.

It's essentially a bulletin board, rather than a forum for discussion.
The stories get dumped there, and then they just sit.
For what purpose?
So others can read it and go, "Huh...interesting."

Those reading that pile of dumped stories have no ability to comment on the content, so there's no interaction or continuation from the "jump-off point" of the "story" for any discussion, commiseration, or opening up of new/other info. from readers to add on with their own similar experiences to whatever each post's original author has written.

Instead, each story just sits there, stagnating in its own sorrowful silo.
Visiting that site is like looking at an endless row of piles of dookie left by the roadside.

Meh.
