Railcrew Xpress Inc. is initiating layoffs. The company, a Kansas City transportation firm, filed WARN notices. Notices were filed for workers in Virginia, Georgia, Florida, and North Carolina. At least eight North Carolina offices will also close. A lost contract prompted these workforce reductions.
