Will see how it goes this week

Haha, it is very rare for me to spend over $20 for a new shirt. I do my shopping off clearance racks and discount stores. Did I mention that I have paid off cars and no debt? Its been 6 months since I was laid off, not a dime in income since then, but I still have a little more than half of my post-tax severance amount. My investments have taken a hit this month, so maybe I can't yet retire and I may decide to take another job. It was fun while it lasted.
I wish leadership would get off their tails and do something about this layoffs news.
Yep, it doesn't matter. You're either on the list this time, or you're not. Don't worry, they'll be another round of layoffs a few months after this one.
AI is the new Lou Gehrigs disease. Hits people that we thought were invincible to changes
@OP Layoffs are going to be the new norm as AI gets better and better at taking over human jobs. Just save your money. Stop buying junk and brand name junk. Brand name products cost 3x, 4x, 5x, more than non-brand name junk. People don't know how to save. That's the problem. Just because you have a hole in your shirt, doesn't mean you can't wear it in your own house or just sew it up. It still has a lot of wear to it. That's what our parents and grandparents did. They didn't run to the store to buy brand name items just because they had a tear in their shirt. They sewed it up. People are lazy and spoiled. They think money grows on tree. They want people to give them money for clicks on their crying, complaining video's. Well, just spend less. Oh I forgot, they don't even know math.
doesn't matter
be prepared to leave (or) start preparing
not worth for hike and salary with such inconsistent environment.
