Yes Oracle is doing the thing totally wrong, they are firing the people who actually doing the job and who brings the real value and keeping the managers
1 manager for 50 people + AI tools and it’s enough. Nobody needs so many managers doing nothing all years long apart from micromanaging and disturbing in completing tasks by their reports.
@OP At minimum it should be 30 people under one manager. In India, many Indian corporations have 50 people under one manager. These days, employees know how to manage themselves with all the status meeting and tools to track status. Also, AI can help manage with all the AI agents and tools.
Eventually, corporations will get rid of the mid-management role. Just a matter of time.
