Can we have at least a week where we don't have to worry about cuts? Just a single one?

@f0 not sure what's worse, clinical roles or operations/ tech roles! I want to say it's the later but what do I know.
@f0 I agree. I've secured PRN and it's given me mental peace! I won't let an employer control my anxiety.
I read this article the other day they are flying people from India, paying their travel expenses, pay the cost of NCLEX and RN license and fly them back. Thought it was a hoax until March 19th they laid off all WellMeds outpatient nurses and a lot of LPN and CA. Wonder if the Wellmed clinics will be affected. This is all a hot mess!
For me, it would be okay to get laid off. I’m sure others can agree- it’s stressful not knowing. I’m the sole income. It is so unhealthy that I come here everyday to see if case management has been or will be affected. I recently secured a high paying PRN and I think that has given me some rest mentally. It’s not a bad idea for RNs- just in case. Hope for the best… but ready for RIF to call on my team.
These finance bros who took over our company from a doddering old man? They don’t care. So it’s going to be a lot more layoffs.
They’re hatchetmen, paid in stock, who are chipping away at the company for headlines that will boost the price. They only care to enrich themselves. Mission, members, employees are all out the window.
My advice - hang in there, make these sleazebags buy you out.
No. As AI gets better faster, so will layoffs. That's just reality.
No. Lol. It’s the Optum way. Until everyone is doing AT LEAST 3 other job descriptions, they won’t stop cutting
