Isn’t it strange that AI is being pushed down our throats and the more we use it the better it’s able to get? Just seems like we are contributing to our own downfall here as a human race. I feel like it’s a natural instinct to opt out of something like this.

@OP the CIO used ChatGPT and is re--rded. So he has some stupid pet project because it said it was a good idea. Don't drink the Kool aid.
@OP No, that's Fiserv logic. There are places that actually make money and have innovative products. These would know the difference between AI replacing people and AI being moderately helpful and also dangerous to people who don't know what they're doing... which is most of the company. Let it burn though :))
AI is only replacing people developing things that nobody should pay for by thought and definition. You want a rough approximation as your output? Fiserv is in a bubble of thought and execution, and the leaders are all mo--ns. Get out while you can or you will start to believe vapid shallow nonsense. Tech is just a tool. Gen AI is made for luddites. Use it but don't think you are doing something grand.
@ae won’t most of us be cut eventually? So what will happen? Teams will be reduced to a couple of people using the AI and the rest of us unemployed? Seems like wishful thinking.
I firmly believe that this latest round of cuts was led by the stark reality of our financial health and the angel investors. I see the Engineering group under Srini Krish cutting at least another 15% by the end of the year. Don't want to be cut? Lead the pack on using AI creatively, repeatable, and deliver outcomes that are always delayed.
In fairness, during his prime with the Sixers, AI was transcendent and the doom of many point guards.
Absolutely are contributing to your own demise. It’s not fully formed yet so needs to study our patterns and how we behave, what prompts we most use so it can replicate us.
