How long are you given to sign the severance agreement ? One day? One week ? Other ?

@am I personally know someone who was RIF'd and once they turned in their company laptop they received the email with the severance documents.
60 days. If you don't sign it you won't get your severance.
When does one get their severance? Some folk that were RIF’d same day as me in late Feb, have gotten it already in an email. What does one do if one does not receive it? I called HR but I get no person to talk to.
