I heard there is horse trading going on right now. Executives meeting to save anyone currently under sponsorship. Green card holders and citizens…676767. The best and brightest, which is only H1b holders, will be saved. They are the reason their home country doesn’t have a thriving tech sector. If we let them go it will be the end of Silicon Valley!!!!

I heard that there will be a major restructuring and a reduction in headcount for Meta vendors working on AI training by the end of April. Specifically, that TaskUs, Wipro, and Genpact will close completely, and that Accenture, TP, and Covalen will undergo restructuring. Does anyone have any information about this? If true, it could mean a lot of job losses, on top of the reported 20% reduction of Meta employees.
