Here is the thread for today’s WF town hall. This is the place for employees to air their concerns and talk about the elephant in the room, real issues we as employees are facing and none of this amateurish soft ball questions nonsense!

@b5 My guess is you haven’t been around long, on Earth or at WF.
Not a popular opinion, but thought Charlie did a good job on the town hall.
The earth is flat. Keep arguing about these go--m matters though.
My absolute FAVORITE part was them thanking us over and over and over for all our hard work, such good work, all the good work, the consent order was lifted, Bravo.
Meanwhile, they gave no merit increases over midpoint and bonuses su-ked for everyone, except them. They're enjoying their millions.
Corporate greed at its finest.
ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS!
@bq nailed it. 👌🏻
@dm what TF does this have to do with layoffs?
Guess no one here cares about the fact that our country is committing war crimes, walking us into WW3 and CEO acted like it was just another Thursday in corporate America.
It took all of DF's effort not to drop an F bo-b during the 15 minutes he spoke.
DF “risk and control isn’t going away” behind the scenes: get rid of all controls, lay off all people with knowledge of how anything actually works, build common controls, deactivate all non-key, monitoring, QA, individual LOB controls, use AI or India on everything but find absolutely nothing that actually prevents or detects risks or controls, shudder whole remediation programs right after they go through successful reg reviews, remove all SMEs in international regions, combine ops risk and compliance because no one understands the actual risk and control framework of which we are supposed to be built on…... I can’t imagine HOW this could go wrong for the company?! Oh but wasn’t his cute little story at the beginning about 30 years ago riding the BART to work just so freaking relatable?!
We'll see how well that impression holds up when he downsizes most of the India team and replaces them with AI. That is his plan.
@b8 don't act liked you would have ba--s to ask one of your stupid questions.
I work from one of the India offices. And we are all very happy with what Charlie has done for the Wells Fargo.
I am off this week, could someone sum up what DF said or was it BS?
@bf GTFOH Are you serious?
@b5 💩💩💩💩
@b5 tell us the truth.. are u Charlie? Do you need validation for us?🤣
I can't believe Charlie called out the "sleeping engineer" in front of the whole firm. Absolutely devastating.
I would love to read Sharts last 100 prompts in 'the copilot'.
@b2 (Does he know AI lies?) -- that's what he likes about it
Talk about unproductive. What a waste of time.
stock goes up and down we are the same company and we don’t know why it goes up and down. But we will be getting rid of people and have ai do the work.
“You people”
That’s all we are.
ChatGPT, copilot - I wonder if Ming team has meetings set up in the city to meet with those companies….
They invited PR people to seat in the audience, those people didn’t have real questions. The second question was the closest to something real but the answer derailed it.
I love the tools
no, I love them more.
No I love them more
I literally kissed chatgpt
Well, i made it to second base
I blew chapgpt
I am having chapgpts baby!
Do they not know AI is just using Reddit threads for answers and majority is lies and biased statements….. it can’t make new things it can only make something that already exists!
Wells Fargo is very fortunate to have Charlie. We should all feel proud of his vision for the future of the bank and AI.
This sounds like the exact townhall from last quarter
Can they stop low balling questions feels like all in attendance are there just for PR. There are burning questions people actually have like cost of living being crazy and how are people to afford it now having to come in person 4 days a week.
Does he know AI lies?
Oooh the house building in AI again
One audience question asked, Charlie filibustering for 10 minutes
We are the d-mb group that people are looking at saying don’t do that
Can we ask some human questions? Not the corporate lingo bs
"We dont want to be in crypto"
As Robinhood eats our lunch, rolling out their platinum card.
Robinhood is all about relationships, with younger generation with money. Wells is for boomers.
@ah would love for that question to come up
Charlie looks really uncomfortable. I don’t think he is good at lying.
XMoney will take over most of the banking
Charlie has nice hair.
Didn’t we close LA locations except for branches?
In which world Charlie lives in where consumers are spending more?!
