Based on area demographics keep healthy uncooked raw food in a display at the store. For example in DFW area becuase of aisan community many retailers now put aisan food , walmart , target, even ross , many American restaurants also specialize themselves in the same category and now serve 2,3 aisan dishes.

For Walgreens its time to move away from mainstreams business and use store wisely.

If leadership like this idea i can work with them ( i am one of you)

@m5 It takes time to see the difference. Give it 12 more months to see the transformation take place. Every business has to show profit to their investors so not sure how being private changes that. This guys know how to turn the company around. Previous management was good but they were good to get it ready for sale. Everyone has a special skill. If we loose our job after trying what they tell us then that is our luck. But at the end you feel good that you were a team player and tried your best to execute the vision. If they cheap out after and show their true color then too bad for them. There will be another job if you are willing to work. Stay positive and things will work out for the company and us.

@ck Regarding confidence in current leadership: From an investment standpoint, they probably will get a good return for their investors at the expense of employees. If the company can't do better by its employees under Sycamore, then I really don't care what happens to Walgreens. From my lowly perch in a call center, I've seen no improvement whatsoever under Sycamore. They did manage to take away our paid holidays, however. Pharmacies are still woefully understaffed and the technology is still junk. Instead of actually fixing anything we just add more SOP's. Lastly, Cenfill and the Walgreens App only make the call center job more miserable than it already is.

Wow, that’s a lot of rewind. Ups and downs come and go. I am seeing changes that are making me a bit more confident in the current leadership team.
