Supposedly they're cracking down on coffee badgers... anyone here this?
Does Wells have the ability to track hours at the office?

Badgers? They don’t need no steenkin badgers.
@dv Half day pto counts as an in office day.
@f6 interesting - because that’s not all true. Ask me how I know.
Yes they do track hours in office. search up using the keywords “my teams in office activity” or something on teamworks. There is a pdf with the screenshots of the tableau dashboard.
The screenshots shows that they are tracking hours in office on a 4 week average and with intervals like “0-3 hours, 4-6.5 hours 7+ hours etc” . Here are the points summarized on that pdf
If I have a doctor's appointment and I leave office for half a day. Then I return and work for a bit and leave with laptop at the end of the day. Would they count that as 8 hours?
Incorporating in-office requirements into goal setting and performance discussions will certainly lead to grounds for termination. And according to the organization, that will be a justified termination as well.
My 2-up called me couple months ago and told me I needed to start coming in for 8-hour days. They were tracking by IP and knew I wasn't in compliance.
Shart doesn't want any of us to ever step foot in a WF building again. This is nothing more then a severance cost reduction scheme. Almost all of the people being downsized were entirely compliant with the BS rules. Almost all of them are in hubs also.
@a8 2026 reporting is going to get you terminated if you keep it up.
I hope the coffee badgers keep going. Wells is looking for people to terminate and not offer severance and we need a good pool of candidates.
@a8 your manager is incompetent and it will catch up with them. When we did RTO at one point emails came down from HR and COO telling managers to put specific individuals on warnings for lack of compliance, else face disciplinary action themselves. This will go down the same way - it’s just a matter of time. Enjoy it while you can.
No they won’t. There is no accountability.
@a2 t6 minute intervals … oddly specific. Must be true! lol
@ad coffee badging could be grounds for termination. Meaning no severance.
Wow thanks for the tip on how to get a package and escape the Bank of India slave camp. I hope getting a coffee, taking a load for 10 min, hits the spot metric wise. they don't pay well enough to even want to stay, so sign me up.
Coffee badged all of 2025. Received a Meets with a 3% raise and a 11% bonus
:)
No. Continue to do so and see how it goes.
Most of the people that were not badging minimum number of hours in office were placed on a weekly review with your manager to assess your in office presence. If that is not being done then you are fortunate.
Once you are called out you have to comply. If you are not called out than great.
Calling BS
The same person has still been coffee badging in my office and hasn’t had anything said to him…
On the contrary, free coffee for the badgers
They've been doing this for almost 9 mos to a year. Yes they track your hours in the office down to 6 Minute intervals.
