Yes or no and a quick why. Just wondering.

@a3 same here. I, very much so, regret taking this position. I was told to keep the I's, dotted, and T's, crossed, and conversion would happen within/ after a year. Also, going on year 3, and my TL never has any idea of what's happening. Barely, been able to pay mortgage, bills, etc Not sure how I've been hanging on being paid pennies. No raise for this long is also bizarre, to me (my first contract-position).
@c6 Lots of doctors, nurses at Cigna...but maybe one should question why
@e1 actively look for other employment while you’re still getting Cigna paycheck. Don’t wait.
Trying to stretch this job out for like 3 to 5 years, pay off myself and find something else to do. Corporate America in general blows.
@ac why do people keep saying we work in healthcare lol. We don’t. Cigna is anti-healthcare.
If you are a doctor, nurse, xray tech, cna, etc. then you work in healthcare
Yes. Period.
Nope, money is money. I don't expect this company to care about me after work hours, nor should they expect me to care about them after work hours. If there's a better opportunity with higher pay and benefits, you bet your a-s I'm outta this sh*t.
Yes, I had an incredible external opportunity but took this role instead. Had no idea I would work for a control freak and a narcissistic leader (my manager was great though). That senior leader and her minions make me question why some people get into health care.
In our org, conversions to FTE have been very difficult to get approved. Difficulty in conversions seems to coincide pretty closely to all the layoffs we have seen over the past 2 plus years. It's always, "cause budget".
As a contractor onshore, im in a tough spot. I was told I would get converted less than a year. Now pushing 3+ with no PTO or health insurance etc. Not sure where I would be otherwise though, maybe worse. Trying to just be positive at this point.
