Thread regarding U.S. Bank layoffs

It’s starting! Anyone hear about this?

Looks like the unlawful termination lawsuits are starting! If you’re on this site and feel, and can prove, unjustly performance, layoff or suspect a target on your back - DOCUMENT everything right now. If more of these cases pop up you’ll have employment law attorneys just waiting for more evidence.
(This case was listed as racially motivated but to me it looks like actions that many can probably relate to)

I found this post for a reason! I’m actively applying elsewhere because I know it’s coming in one form or another. I met all my metrics last year and was due for a raise that they just said no that I’m not actually getting since I am at the top of my pay grade… I just started this position in the fall because my last position there was no room for growth and now magically that one little promotion set me back up at the max pay grade for this… I can’t wait to get out at this point. I’ve never been fired and I’ve been there for 4+ years but I can’t do this anymore. Their practices are so sh---y. Rich get richer I guess

https://www.americanbanker.com/news/u-s-banks-former-ai-chief-accuses-bank-of-discrimination

Recent litigation involving U.S. Bank’s former AI Chief, REDACTED, has brought renewed attention to discrimination claims within the financial sector. It is notable that while African Americans have faced systemic exclusion for centuries, newer legal challenges are increasingly being led by individuals from different backgrounds, leading some to question the evolution and focus of modern advocacy movements.

Ironic the policy prefers helping wealthy immigrant families (poor people for the most part can't afford to move to the US) more than our own black citizens

@ag get over yourself. I’ve seen discrimination based on gender first hand.

Bet it’s bullsh-t!! The bank bends over backwards for women, LGBTQer’s or anyone other than white. Wouldn’t get your hopes up on this case.
