News flash. Old guys from the past fail to see the changing employee dynamic around them and refuse to change with the trends. That’s worked out well throughout history. FB is the past, talent is what makes any organization a success. Not being open to acquire it in all forms from in office to remote will cost him and Fiserv in the long run. The realization of which will probably time out to when his contract runs out and he can parachute out.

There are only some full time remote positions because those positions are being filled, unlike the New Jersey office.

The only companies/people that are insisting everyone come back to an office when the job can be done remotely are those that have an interest in commercial real estate...

@xzs+1kkDFAeT,

WFH ok for sales, RMs, SME's and Contact Center. All others please relocate to one of the many hubs and enjoyed for very reasonable "majority" model.

Lol, this is just a complete copy+paste regurgitation of leadership's stance on WFH and RTO. But sure, this isn't a paid HR shill posting this! It's obviously just a passionate #FISVProud employee perusing a layoff site to defend their fearless leader FB. Riiiight.

Nope sorry - most all companies are bringing workers back into the office. The work from home movement has come and gone. WFH ok for sales, RMs, SME's and Contact Center. All others please relocate to one of the many hubs and enjoyed for very reasonable "majority" model.

We can all post links about trends.

The fact is, while c-suite level execs might want every worker to return to full WFO, it's not going to happen. Covid allowed people to see that working remotely is not only feasible, but most times more productive, and definitely better for work/life balance.

And spare me the "co-office collaboration" nonsense. That argument falls apart for Frankserv immediately when you look at 1) forcing people into offices just to be in a physical location, despite having no direct colleagues on-site; and 2) the hiring strategies being employed - hiring all roles in NJ when their colleagues (including the people training them FFS) are in other locations. It's absurd. Forcing people into offices so they can sit on Teams meetings all day just reeks of big brother type of management.

You know what happens with this style of leadership? You lose all the people who actually care about their jobs and are good at them.
