Thread regarding Charles Schwab Corp. layoffs

As at-will employeer, will Schwab terminate for misdeamor charges and convictions?

For unlicensed role, anyone know of cases where Schwab has terminated on criminal charges such as misdmeanor? or do you have one and you're good?

If you self report you will lose job
Best find another role at a different smaller company and resign

There’s a listing within the policy in terms of what convictions require reporting

Strange questions about skirting policies lately. Disclose as required. Felonies are absolute. Misdemeanors are absolute for Securities, investments, commodities, or insurance fraud; False statements, perjury, bribery, or forgery; or the wrongful taking of property (e.g., theft, larceny, or extortion), per FINRA. Policy has additional criteria for termination.

And, yes, many have been immediately terminated for misdemeanor convictions.
