Thread regarding Citigroup Inc. / Citibank / Citi layoffs

Is it worth sending in a complaint to the OCC?

The OCC encourages people that work at a covered bank to file a complaint when they believe that bank is not adhering to a consent order. Over the past year there have been Compliance, KYC, and Risk credit approvers let go. Those were the exact areas the CO said Citi had to strengthen. Just not sure filing complaint will make any difference. Or maybe worthwhile just to give Citi a headache???

@fa not HR retired 2/2. I’m stating obvious facts. The CO will be lifted, there’s no appetite with this admin to impose meaningful restraint and Citi has objectively done a lot to fix problems.. the result of that will naturally be HC reductions. . The Choo choo is just to rile up you dead Enders who choose to stay at this miserable place and bi--h about it to their detriment.

But you do you and believe HR is looking at this lame a-s board with what a couple of hundred posts a day? LOL

@ds letting people go in these areas is the natural result of clearing MIRA and sections of the CO. It’s all fully transparent to regulators. Citi is on the fast track to have the CO removed and with justification. An enormous amount of work has been done in that regard.

May not like it and it su-ks to see people impacted but thems the facts. This was evident by last September. . Anyone in those roles should have started looking. Glad I got out.

@de

Disagree. It depends on the crime or violations.

I know from personal experience having blown the whistle.

In any case, the Poster needs to talk to a Whistleblower Lawyer (yes, they're actually called that).

@a5 incorrect I’m retired. It would be performative BS because come he-l or high water this Admin is all about dismantling regulation and oversight and the squawk of a low level citi employee has no weight. The CO is being lifted no matter what.

@OP

From personal experience, yes it's worth it to file a complaint with OCC, FRB.

They have to submit this information to the regulators 😂 Do you think someone is just deciding this type of thing with no oversight?

“No” said the HR rep assigned to perform damage control to this board.
If what you say is true, yes, its worth it.
