@an So sorry to hear but the non-working notice, paid out PTO, and severence is a blessing in disguise and the melting away of the the stress and toxicity will only help your mental and physical state ESCPECIALLY during a pregnancy. Take a break and take time to decompress. They did you a favor. I was laid off in January (6 weeks ago) and it has been one of the best things that has ever happened to me in my life. You will definitely will go through different emotions but you got this and will be fine, if not better off in the long run. God bless!

They barely started. Get out of the company ASAP unless you have the same caste manager and if someone is saving his/her a-s. The IT teams are fully controlled by upper caste managers and their favorite consulting companies. The department of labor must link into unethical practices, fake job postings for internal hires. Offshore hiring in India has significantly gone up.
india, Singapore and Arab countries have more control over Citi than the USA. Not just Citi many banks and other organizations have the same issue.
The caste system must be stopped. HR must look into unethical and immoral practices by the Consulting companies and the upper caste managers. All,.please complain to Labor department, state, media and the law enforcement if you suspect any caste based racism and discrimination. Almost all IT teams have this caste discrimination issues.
There is also many other types of discriminations. US Citizens are being fired..You rarely see a Muslim in the IT teams, forget about women, hiring African Americans is a joke. All this discrimination in IT is basically due to consulting companies and upper caste managers. If you suspect any international money exchanges, please complain to authorities. Most of gifts and cash is usually exchanged in a different country and at different times. The whole IT consulting is a scam and one day the banks will take a serious hit or hacking by foreign people.
