I prefer when there are rumors going around than the complete quiet on layoffs. Makes me think we're about to be hit by a major storm. I hope I'm wrong, but with everything happening in the entire industry, I wouldn't be surprised if major cost cutting is in our near future.

The market is certainly going to shake it up. It's a stagnant company relying on trying to repackage the same exact product again and again, hoping that it's dimwitted fans don't notice. Iger cut costs a few years back and gave himself a massive raise in the meantime. Companies that operate that way are certainly facing decline. The bloated nature of middle management that overseas a mob of young, inexperienced, corporate cogs hasn't figured out a recipe for growth and innovation and won't since innovation doesn't come from narrow experience. Get ready, Josh D'Amaro doesn't know how to grow an organization.
