Thread regarding HCSC (Health Care Service Corporation) layoffs

Are pay increases retroactive?

I talked to a coworker recently who said the pay increases in the past were retroactively paid out, going back to the beginning of the year. Is that true?

We are paid in arrears, so pay effective say on 3/1 would be reflected for those dates in the NEXT paycheck. Not the one we received today.

@ev Does tomorrow’s non-exempt pay reflect payment for work performed 2/16-2/27? If so, that’s before the March 1 effective date.

Bummer, non-exempt employees just learned their pay increase won't be in the March 6 pay check, as we were originally informed. March 20th, instead.

@a1 no, there has also been notifications of when they take effect on March 1st.

Really wish more people read the notices that are sent out.
