If anyone has gotten both an AI written review but also gotten more than an “achieving”. Like yeah, you’re great, but still not great enough for me to put thought into my own words.

I don't care if I my AD uses an AI to do my review. AI tends to skew positively anyway lol. I am in probably a similar situation to many others. My manager had me for a month or so and then was expected to review my performance? Of course they're gonna use AI and feed it the data my previous manager put in. I don't care and Dan doesn't either, he'd even have AI write his wife a poem (in his own words).
yeah, normally only 20% of the team can get "exceeding" but AI has nothing to do with it unless the C-suite and HR dept are replaced by AI, too (that could be a "step function improvement").
