Just curious.. should I have my stuff in a box ready to walk out anytime? Really hoping to get lucky on 3/3!

I was remote when laid off. Called to a meeting, given the notice, then told "no reason to stay logged in". My access was cut less than 30 mins later. I got notice on my personal email of the box being sent for my computer return.
That's the process I experienced.
I would. You get the call. They cut your system access shortly after. No one walked me out.

@aj nope. In fact Sol sits in a cube. The exec's desks are nothing fancy and are similar to the office furniture in Metro Park, if they have offices.
Either in the office or remote, you're not given a lot of time. I had an email prepped to folks I wanted to let know, so that I could send quickly. Did some other things and then my access was cutoff.
If you're expecting to be laid off, I'd have as many of your ducks in a row (and things out of the office), so that you don't have to spend the 2 hours or less you have taking care of those things.
If you think there are "bad" reasons for you being let go, get as much documentation together beforehand, because you won't have time to deal with it after it happens.
When I was there, I was remote.
About two weeks later, they sent a box for the laptop 💻 and badge witha prepaid shipping label.
I had two badges at the time, so I kept one as a souvenir.
We don’t even have our own desks in Iselin. I bet Charlie and Sol have mahogany desks.
Was let go on my remote day. They cut my access off about 2 hours later. They send you a box and you return your laptop. I think it took a few weeks if I remember (it was last March).

When I got laid off I was in the office and no one came to get me. I just handed my stuff to Techexpress and left lol.
