@ae because of comp being finalized and locked in. Last week was an anomaly.

@aj That was in response to the person stating layoffs are done the week BEFORE payday after the post that they are done the week of! If that person was so sure they are done the week before payday then explain last weeks- shouldn’t have anything to do with size of

Well why were there a handful of layoffs last Thursday? Payday was last Friday, not tomorrow.

@ac Layoffs are the week BEFORE you get paid. The Thursday before the last day of your pay period, which is today. Not saying that today will have layoffs but if they do it would be today and not next Thursday. Easier on Payroll.

Layoffs are usually the week of payday… This isn’t a pay week

I heard on a call that last week was the majority of the final 2000 people payoffs last week. Anything else this week are probably just stragglers who were out on PTO
