Thread regarding Cigna layoffs

Communications for layoffs

For those JE, I am sorry… I need to know if the invitation and communication is via Webex or Microsoft teams… We never use teams in my dept and Today the manager added us to a Trams “Notifications”. I am assuming that Layoffs are happening tomorrow so I am wondering if anyone got JE via teams? Thanks and God Bless you all and may all doors open

The email comes to you as some organizational announcement from the director of your dept and for me it was some pre-recorded message on WebEx (WebEx is not being sunset til about August.)

I received the invitation and held my JE call via webex. I was video ON during my termination, and my boss with her video OFF.

Webex is being sunset. Any JE meeting request will come via email in the morning.

It could also just be that we are moving away from Webex to Teams and they are setting up the new communication channels. I wouldn't read too much into it.

If you are part of the layoffs, you will receive an invite early in the morning to join a meeting, whether it's Webex or Teams is not relevant.

I think you get a meeting invite in the morning and they tell you in the meeting. I don’t think they message you about it over Webex or teams
