For those that were displaced in the past, has anyone had success finding another position with their redeployment program?

There used to be a more formal program to place employees displaced. It's gone now. Provides "resources" but it's not like the old program that would actually place you in a new job if you were part of the program.
It was total waste of time for me.

I got connected with someone and they got me a job. I think I got lucky since it looks like it doesnt work for most
There were about 6 people on my team who were offered this feature but none of them had any luck and all ended up being laid off. I spoke with one of the former colleagues and he said at first it seemed like a really nice option until he realized that it was really just an informational resource verses placing him to a new role. He felt very discouraged at the end. The only ones who came back to WF were the ones who networked their way back in through past contacts.
It was useless. A lot of general knowledge most already know or could research on their own to get noticed. The person assigned to me seemed to care less and I was just another # to check off the box. Hard to schedule time with and ultimately didn’t lead to any litigate leads on jobs. Company just provides the resources as another thing to say they tried.
Lol they gave me a few months of job assistance through a company and they were useless.
Someone from the Redeployment Program reached out to help me find a job with Wells Fargo during the 60-day non-working period. They shared how to set up job alerts in workday and upload my resume, however, due to location strategy there were no positions available.
I was redeployed as an R2D2 clone cleaning Charlie's toilet.
No, nothing came out of it for me or anyone I worked with who was using.
I thought redeployment was when they move you to a new job or department instead of laying you off.
What is the “redeployment program”? I’ve been here 11 years and have been displaced/re-hires twice and never heard of it.
