Glorified chiefs of staff without the ability, authority, vision, experience, or functional knowledge to deliver anything of value to the company, or the function they’re assigned. Each function has one. Has for 10+ years.
If company value doesn’t increase, isn’t that literally a shortcoming of its strategy? What am I missing? They are the highest paid and most Ivy credentialed players in the game.
