Fiserv CRM - APPSEC Disgusting how its been handled. waste of 8hr every single day.

is there any fued between these two teams?

They always push each others work and delay the work for other teams?

simple changes, Needs CRM teams approval. Work blocked.
Simple approval from CRM, Appsec teams reviewed need more comments from them? Work Blocked.

when will there be a actual work done in this Fiserv?

@dq LOL. I hadn't considered that. There is too much other insane sh-t to deal that you lose track of all of the illogical, costly, and wasteful problems brought on by various forms of upper management.

Since when does Fiserv have a capable web app security testing team? I thought they all left the company a few years ago.

I like it when the AppSec team blocks a release of security fixes because the scanning software updated and found a new minor security issue.

It is like they are trying to get our customers to run vulnerable software for the maximum amount of time.

Basically every “supporting” portion of the business (so almost anything outside of product) is allowed to make whatever rules they want and force everyone else to comply with them. Obviously, they’ve taken full advantage of this by upping their “impact” or just minimizing the worth they have to do, or some combination of the two. This happens because there is effectively zero leadership at the VP and above in this company who is accountable for wrangling the horizontals together to meet the same goals. One Fiserv is the ideal, but it’s purely up to the VPs to make it happen and they’ve never had a reason to care.
