Benefits Changes

The changes to benefits for imaging is the worst change to benefits I can remember. This new group OneImaging that we have to go through is terrible. What should be a quick scheduling with the doctors office takes weeks to find a cut-rate imaging center nearby and tell them what days you’d prefer and hope they have availability and get back to you. Costs went way up for all kinds of ultrasounds and some other imaging types.

One Imaging is a total joke. I was trying to explain to the representative the specific type of MRI I needed and she just wanted to book the order. I went up her to manager and he understood right away and admitted they couldn't assist me. Thankfully, I did a bit of research before talking with those clowns.

OneImaging has only been around for like 2 years. Has 6-10 ish employees and just did more “seed funding” with Hedge Funds so they can “expand” and use AI to deny claims when you really need a scan which saves DW some money. Took a buddy 3 weeks to get a scan for a broken bone and got routed to India to talk to someone every step of the way. Also only one approved place in Midland you can get a scan. If they are full you get to drive to Amarillo. OneImaging is so awesome. So Glad we signed up with them 😂🫠

Got dumped by my dentist because they don’t accept Delta. The loss of benefits makes having medical in retirement almost worthless. Very few reasons left to stay.

@ar why are you still here? Are you obsessed with Exxon?

Don’t worry! They promised it would be EASIER and CHEAPER. Because what’s easier than imaging directly through your provider? Inserting a middle-man of course!!

My new company has way better insurance than exxon. I am glad I left because there was no way I would have made it to retirement. I pay a little more than I did at exxon but the coverage is way better. It will only get worse as the number of employees drops.

I wonder if DE has an admin deal with all of the mess. I bet he does. Maybe get your admin to handle the paperwork!
