ORCL and the rest of the MAG7 do not want to see the 10yr under 4%.
Stagflation.
I was also RIF’d in Sept. Sold shares immediately but returned 2,500 that would have vested in less than 2-years.
@cr
In the USA we don't really have the term "garden leave". I was RIF'd in September 2025, and managed to get the RSUs for September. All of my RSUs for next year/ 2026, "were on the table", and lost. Someday, I would love to have a talk about both the toxic people and the amazing people at Oracle. I had both in my career there. If you get amazing people Oracle is a fantastic place to work. Toxic people...oh boy...all the bad stories are true.
It is interesting that neither Clay, Mike or Larry have publicly addressed the stock downward trend.
ORCL 52 week high is $345.72
It's two year high is also $345.72
The Calculation:
From the high to $141: A loss of approximately 59.21%
From the high to $148: A loss of approximately 57.19%
We sit at $140.83 at today's opening.
Roughly 60% loss.
Might be below $130 by COB Friday. Might.
IBM loses 13% just yesterday, largest drop for Big Blue in a Quarter of a Century.
@at are you already out or did they propose garden leave? RSU's will void if you take garden leave.
Hasn't hit bottom yet!
I was sad being laid off when I still had RSUs coming. I thought of them as "money on the table" that I would never get. I put up with so much, because I wanted to get that last bit of stock. SO glad I was laid off, because if I was still there, I would be un-alive with the stress of dealing with the stock falling and having to continue to put up with so much! The stock I currently have will rebound - eventually - but at least I am alive and full into my new life.
Given the current price action and broader market conditions, this could present a possible opportunity for a short position. Curious to hear others’ thoughts on key support levels or catalysts that might push it lower.

I'd like to thank Larry, Clay and that other guy for wrecking the stock for all of us and costing us all lots of money. Way to go. It doesn't bother them with all their wealth, but it's a big hit for the rest of us who were counting on that stock for retirement.
