Two things stand out about this latest episode of EotDwR, titled ‘Xerox Joint Venture With TPG’:
1) He starts out by unnecessarily bashing all non-Xerox entities in the industry (what do any of these negative comments have to do with the actual JV/title content?).
2) He discusses/reviews very little about the details of the joint venture or its terms/conditions, covenants, etc. (could it be because it’s so bad that there’s no way to spin it?).

But does tend to spare the xrx low life’s and the nonsense going on there with that ridiculous assembly of execs. I get the impression Xerox either bought him, just like Quocirca and IDC, or they slapped him with a STFU defam threat sometime back. That's why he can bash all the other overseas manufacturers with impunity - they just don't know or care about him. On the whole, RS has been on the money with how everything has played out for our industry globally in the last 6 years... Except... when it comes to Xerox, which may simply be because he's rooting for the last "US" brands - protectionism. It's interesting though, that he hasn't been honest about Xerox suing federal government for tariff remuneration or the implications of re-badged Lexmark engines in government offices following DHS embargo years back. It's all a shell game now, but Xerox is playing with fire when you actively sue your largest client. You don't do THAT, unless things are dire.
