So apparently Captains report to the SM and CXCs report to the MBAs ?

This is not wrong , just not sure when it's happening. For sure CXC will report to the MBA.

CXC reports to Specialty CXM and captains can report to either CXM or SMM depending on structure and role focus
Every store is different. Depends on how your store managers wants it. They decide.
Not in my store, I report to SMM and sales captains to CXEs. AYS captain to MBA
Not in my store. Captains report to the SMM and CXC reports to the Special selling area CXM. Not been told to do it any other way.
