Companies overhired H1b, and will continue to hire H1b. And the comments on this thread/forum is the reason why. US citizens (caucasian males) are simply up-to no good. The only specialization is whining on online forums. A remarkable combination of lack of empathy, decency and intellect. Most Indians laid off will find another job within a couple of months (in US or India or elsewhere).
What is so wrong with going back to your country, after all it was a temporary visa, so much for being smart if this was not clear.
The US is happy to give green cards to illegals as they will outnumber the legal us techies from India and also their votes will create more impact on the election. The LEGAL act will never come into effect.
H1B is a temporary work visa and their is no guarantee of a permanent residency. Companies overhired H1B workers and now their mad because they have to return home when their visa is over?
