No employee will ever be safe from cuts at Apache. That is the only way the company can make their numbers each quarter.
The really sad story is the new people that go to work there thinking they have a potential future with a good company to only find out what it feels like to be on a sinking ship.
Lots of good people still working for Apache. Sad thing is that all of the people they report to at Director, VP and ETL level are not good people. Company will never change it will just continue to be a revolving door of employees. So sad how the CEO has destroyed the company in the time that he has been in place.
They should get rid of overpaid middle managers and directors with two or three direct reports, instead of the people that do the actual work.
