What really su-ks is those who took early retirement were guaranteed 100% individual AIP multiplier but those who stuck around and worked all year that met expectations are only getting 90-95%.

@dj You realize you can sell the Humana stock in your 401K and invest in something that will grow?

@dj I think the leaders need to adjust their messaging then. When all the leaders are talking about what an amazing year we have had, how we have hit all of our company goals, and how all the sales goals were smashed. Then none of the leaders, absolutely ZERO guidance from HR, will go on the record and tell us about this dire financial picture. The only thing we got as leaders was emails from the compensation account letting us know that no one is getting a raise. Followed by no guidance on how to discuss this with our associates. Followed by a 112% bonus.

I think it's paltry considering no raise. The last time we hit all of our goals and had messaging like this from leadership, our bonus hit 158% that year.

So you can think whatever you want about how someone's attitude here, the fact is, leadership really left the middle managers out to dry to deliver this sh---y news of no raises. It's only going to destroy the culture further and hurt the company overall so someone can progress in their career and encourage job hopping.

Keep drinking your Koolaid.

@dr the bonus has an individual performance component. Leaders were given recommendations and we got a chart on how to think about performance so you add more as performance increases and reduce as it falls. But meeting expectations was not an automatic 100 either. I think it was 80-100 so like a 90 was average if you were meeting expectations.

Anyone get a rating of a 4 or a 5? Wonder if there are extra benefits for those individuals? Hmm.

How is 112% pathetic? And they used “discretion” which they always can to adjust down from 168 due to financial health of the company. Well I have a 401k that has Humana stock in it, I assume anyone in our bonus plan probably does too at least a little. Have you seen our stock? I expect them to be focusing on the financial health of the company vs paying a 168 bonus to a select group when we aren’t where we need to be. Anyone in a role in a bonus program should be able to wrap their head around that. If you can’t, maybe that shows you’re not interested in performing duties in a publicly traded public that owes accountability to stock holders and maybe you should go elsewhere. Do you want them to focus on your bonus check or the viability of the company and accountability to the members in stockholders which is what they’re supposed to be doing. I find it really hard to understand how you think 112% bonus is pathetic given the performance of our stock right now. I’m surprised we even got 100% let alone anything over. Feel free to go find a company to work for it is publicly traded has a bonus program and doesn’t have discretion to ensure it’s focused on the financial health of the company. You won’t find one! And you know what most companies don’t tell you they actually told us and now you’re proving exactly why it doesn’t matter what they do we all just complain. You want transparency, be intelligent enough to understand what you were told and what it meant versus just finding something to be pissy about. I care more about my peers jobs than I do getting an even better bonus when I already got 112%. If you can’t understand the financial data of the company, you’re probably not contributing well to that bonus program and to start with. Without the company being strong no one has a job. That would be pathetic for them to not be focused on the broader company vs a one time bonus check for you.

No raises, and then a pathetic bonus. And the message from leadership is that we need to continue to lean in and do more? Fu-k that. You get 40 hours a week. No more.

Yes. The AIP result is 112% this year. It was 168% but they reduced it because the company is doing poorly.
