Thread regarding Solventum layoffs

What did you think of the town hall?

Sort of boring and lackluster. Hard to feel inspired about anything. I guess there is the Americas kick off to look forward to.

@c7 ...until you are laid off, though and the music ends. It's all about filling their (RSU) pockets in the c-suit.

@c7 why buy 1 billion in stock when there's no dividend. This isn't saving the company a penny. Should have used that money to pay down debt and reduce interest payments.

Exactly what is Bryan's strategy???

This company is due for an extreme makeover under new management. Problem is the guy makes 40 million while doing practically nothing.

Even the townhalls have become a joke.

It was a bunch of rah rah BS. All I care about is AIP and I'm sure they know that's what everyone cares about. We used to get those numbers (at least an estimate) WAY before now. It's like they all stood up there patting themselves on the backs while making millions right after laying people off. I wish I was old enough to retire.

It was pretty timid, but let’s not let that get in the way of what’s most important - the shareholders! We bought $1B worth of stock. That will surely keep all of our jobs safe into perpetuity. With that in mind I’m guessing annual raises and AIP will be massive this year.
