The pattern appears to be for Citizens only. All other immigrants are safe. They can continue on their H1, L1 visas, EAD, Greencard etc.. So pathetic!
The Department of Labor and the State labor departments must investigate.

I got laid off today. Same story, MD scheduled call an hour before. I was an SVP in data risk and controls. 60 day non working period and 2 weeks for each year. I've been with Citi a long time. Rating was 3/3, not that it matters. Happy for the time off and paroled from the $hit show. On to better things. Seems like a blood bath today.

Guys, it has nothing to do rating and it is determined by your group MD. If you are good with your manager and skip level you are safe.

@OP It’s a massacre out there. I’m gone. One from my team. 4 from a sister team. All in Tampa. 1 from NY.

All have good ratings. Different directors. All getting notice and severance.

I know folks on here want to try and determine if they are on the list based on what is happening. But I really don’t see a pattern that can tell us that.

Hang in there. Stay positive.

@OP Since you got a "4" (likely unwarranted) and are not included in the RIF, I would contact an employment lawyer for a free consultation, just for peace of mind. Wishing you all the best.

OP, I see that Texas has 2 months notification period before layoff. so, in effect, are you getting just the notification period and no severance? Was the 4 rating described as ineligible for severance?

I was a backend software developer. Rating was a 4 (I did not agree with it), and I am getting 8 weeks severance. "Due to restructuring"
