Thread regarding UnitedHealth Group Inc. layoffs

Am I wrong thinking this?

I wanted to ask for some clarification regarding the recent changes in Teams and the organizational view. Previously, it clearly showed the team I’ve worked with consistently, but now when I look at my organization, it lists many different names I’m not familiar with. I understand that organizational structures can evolve, but the sudden change without context feels confusing. Can someone please explain what these updates reflect and whether they indicate a shift in team alignment, reporting structure, or workflow? I believe transparency helps everyone stay informed and aligned, and I would appreciate any insight you can provide.

all these org charts in sparq , teams are so out of date i dont even bother. Just keep doing what you are doing until told to do otherwise. Been doing the same function for over a decade see my title and team change constantly but day to day has been the same since all my work is with people not in my org structure. Just ignore all the noise work autonomously and press on. Now if you cant work independently and need hand holding etc this company is not for you.

Are you talking about the actual organization chart that shows who you report to, or the “You Work With” section below it, which lists the people you communicate most with?

Look in Sparq instead. If that is aligned properly, you should be ok. If Sparq matches teams..yikes! What is going on?

i'm going to attribute that to teams being a bad microsoft product. I assume those connections are inferred by who you communicate/meet with. I wouldn't read into it, just sh---y microsoft ai.
