One guess… to delay the Stock allocation announcement….might be upcoming RIF-rumors in Mar-Apr on this forum…
. Don’t know how that works… if Stocks together and then if those employees are RIF, VZ has to pay higher severance payouts ?
@OP utter nonsense. The only limiting factor to your compensation opportunity is YOU. Get after it! Get off the couch and find a better job, find a 2nd job, or start your own company. A year from now you could be making more money than you ever thought possible!
Everybody should go on strike.
@OP For anybody left, they don't give a sh$t about you. Hatchet thinks AI will replace almost everybody, they'll keep the cushy jobs from band 5 and up and will destroy what's left of the middle class while laughing all the way to the bank.
F 'em all
@cp Not only was Dan on the board at the time of the actions you listed, he was director of the board and voted to approve each of these debacles. He is part of the problem.
@cp
He has served on the BoD since 2018. He didn't inherit a problem. He made one.
It's funny that you think he cares about hiring and retaining talent, other than his paypal buddies.....
@ak good or bad (mostly bad for employees), but Dan has inherited the problem, and the employees are 100% the victims!!!
Employees are paying the price because of the previous generation of executive leadership, Lowell + Hans, borrowing, corporate debt, overpaying for assets, over hiring, and the wrong executives in leadership.
Lastly, mistakes, whereby not recognizing to handle the American-based talent, first and foremost, being that the US Citizens.
@OP sadly, you are 100% out-of-touch with reality!!! Wake-up and smell the coffee!!! Stop writing meritless cr-p. Test the job market and you will realize, if successful, you would be one of the very few, if any.
What made you think they wanted to hire or retain talent? The past 10 years has shown no such thing. Call centers, EDN, finance? You’re overpaid as it is. When is the last time you saw someone just leave? There’s a reason.
@ac this will be one of those as when Dan joined last year and said- I HAVE A PLAN….and folks just kept counting, 30 days, 100 days, Dan’s webcasts…..and Wallah… the id--t just keeps ranting AI all the time without telling any SO CALLED DAN-PLAN…..so Good Luck when the “Later in year for Stock” comes…
@OP funny how's Dan gets the blame when its 100% employee problem. Which shows even more with the great job Dan has done and employees that can't read or follow simple directions
@OP you and the rest that can't read or spread lies should be next to go.
You would think Stock together decision would be made and communicated clearly by the deadline of comp sheets coming out Do better, Execs
It says exactly what the first response stated, stay tuned for more info on this years new grant. It's not gone completely. Your previous awards will still be given to you in March. Goto the Stock Together site on AboutYou and you can see the previous grants are still on track to be paid in March. There is hope for this to continue
Didn't get mine yet. What does "the statement at the bottom" state?
The BOD will not approve zip until they see more change and improvement.
@a2 if it is a approved. As of now, it is not approved and there is no guarantee that it will be approved so your compensation package has been lowered.
It's not officially gone yet, read the fine print on the bottom of comp sheet. It does seem it's going away the way it's worded.
Read the fine print stock together will be issued once it is approved…
