Yes, if you are remote, they will push you to go back to office, if you do not have an office in your area then they’ll almost certainly lower your rating, no matter how good your performance is. It’s a tactic to make it easier to push people out. Their whole strategy seems designed to pressure employees into leaving on their own so they don’t have to offer severance. If you don’t have another job lined up yet, it’s better to hang in there, at least that way you’ll receive the severance you’ve earned after giving this company years of your work.
