There's been almost no talk about layoffs for a while. Instead of calming me down, that silence makes me more anxious. Are they planning something big and just keeping it quiet?

Consistent layoffs have been reported in IT and Compliance since November, albeit done quietly. These have been from the SVP level down. No one and no position is protected.
