Lowe's lays off 600 corporate employees

A statement from the company was shared with WCNC Charlotte on Friday, Feb. 13, 2026. Lowe's said about 600 corporate and support employees would be impacted, making up less than 1% of its total workforce. Lowe's statement said, in part, "This step helps better align our resources to support our stores and the associates who serve customers every day."

I’m sure Marvy is suffering too. Had to turn down all the water heaters in his $90 million dollar mansion down 2 degrees. He should turn them up so he knows better what he-l will feel like.

Again, Marvin finds more jobs to cut instead of ways to bring business into the stores. Our store is as dead as I have ever seen and I'm 20 yrs plus with the store. It would be great to have a CEO that focused more on sales then taking more from it's already struggling employees.
