Encourage everyone to contact your federal and state elected officials, legal representatives, State EEOC and media reps to register your concerns while calling attention to this website forum.

We're all exposed to the known insidious corporate layoff behaviors which have created reported toxic work environments.

It's now a matter of individuals taking further action to call attention to this with elected officials, state agencies, legal representatives and media to investigate and stop these actions.

@cp I am sorry to hear that you are going through this too. Clearly seems to be the strategy they are using to avoid paying severance. It’s not right. Wish there was a better way for us to connect to share our story.

@c7 Hi, also in MA here, also 19 years, next week would’ve been the start of year 20. I asked BNY for a copy of my final review, and got it yesterday. Strangely, it does say ‘did not meet expectations’ but the manager comments are all good comments, including that my colleagues praised me for my contributions to the team. Literally nothing indicating poor performance. Doesn’t make any sense. They’re just trying to avoid paying us our deserved and earned severance by framing it as a poor performance.

I’m very angry and sad at the same time. I really wanted to stay with BNY, but managers forced me to rank lower and became hostile for challenging their reasons. I was put on PIP and left for a better-paying job.

Hi! Recently going thru same situation as everyone else in this blog. 19 years let go, no severance. Bogus performance review. Great overall career at BNY and then blindsided. If there is anyone who was successful in MA, can you please share their attorney contact? Would be greatly appreciated.

I got all the proof needed if any lawyers or media wants it. There is an audit trail that shows when ratings and merit were entered by your direct report followed by who altered them after and what was altered. Be sure to copy your reviews cause if you get let go hr is trying to refuse to give you copies
