if you are US, IDC and some other locations without much labor protection, you will lose access to the laptop almost immediately (few mins after the call). Thus backup your pay slips, materials and personal stuff, write down contact details of your boss and colleagues for future references.
After call ends - immediately put your laptop into airport mode to prevent/delay "ki-l command" to backup further local files.
