CPQ for use by dealer channels?

Is it true that the once exclusive CPQ quote tool is now being used by the dealers?

If so, when did that start?

@kf while that’s true, the main reason for the bugs for both platforms is the lack of training. Branch managers and directors both do not know how to enter an order, much less have the knowledge to use or show underlings how to use said platforms. Marketing doesn’t know how either. They have someone make an AI scripted video then yell at anyone with a question to “watch the brain shark.”

I wish they would have bought a better solution to process orders. Feels like SOM 2.0 Filled with bugs and a million ways a rep can accidentally make a mistake. Delays processing orders and so on.

Might be a good time to become better acquainted with your local dealer… best to deal with the dealer directly: don’t deal with his bratty entitled kids.

You mean the CPQ custom configuration and pricing tool that replaced the CSA SOM tool is a Salesforce app? Really?

Anyone can purchase CPQ as it is affiliated with Salesforce. Are you saying you’ve seen a dealer in your personal CPQ?
